Window Cleaning licensing (Civic government (scotland) Act 1982)

Window cleaning is a Licensed activity throughout Scotland. Always check that your window cleaner is licensed and insured. Licensed window cleaners are background-checked by Police Scotland and Local Authority registered. Operating without a License is a Civil Offence, imposing fines of up to £2,500.00. Reputable window cleaners will always be happy to show their License-holder’s badge as a matter of pride, so don’t be affraid to ask. It’s a manditory requirement for your window cleaner to have their badge with them whilst working.

About Pure water-fed pole window cleaning

We clean windows using purified water which is free of the usual particles and impurities that are suspended in normal tap and rain water. Without the presence of those particles the water we use leaves a streak-free and perfect clean finish to your windows.

Working from the ground the water is fed to your windows through extendable poles and soft brushes, which allows us to work around your property without ladders in most instances. Other attachments to the poles allow us to remove more stubborn deposits too. We brush and rinse down the frames and sills as well of course!

Traditional window cleaning from ladders with a bucket and squeegee is still effective and appropriate in some circumstances and we may clean some windows using this method but pure water-fed pole is always our preferred option, simply because its the best option.
